StraightUp Comedy: The Comeback

Fri 18 Sep 2020 7:45pm

The Landor Space

We're BACK! StraightUp Comedy's been on a 6 month, COVID-induced hiatus in which we baked more banana breads than you can imagine (if you can only imagine up to six banana breads) and reorganised the spicerack on at least three occasions - by which we of course mean wanked ourselves into intensive care.

NOTE: Due to strict social distancing guidelines intended to keep you safe and make us look good, there are ONLY 30 TICKETS AVAILABLE...so book fast.

HULLABALOOO!

Remember a time before modern, so-called "comedy" by edgy, so-called "comedians"? Gay man Will Dalrymple ("Never again; is gay" - Rhiannon Shaw) and cum-gurgler Rhiannon Shaw ("Gurgles cum!" - Will Dalrymple) remember. Uncle and Auntie Comedy bring you anti and anti-anti comedy: a so-called Hullabalooo!

Londonist ****

"Scarcely a minute passes without a hysteric outburst from the crowd...But the real joke is the price: a mere £7..."

LondonTheatre1 ****

"A genuinely amusing evening"

Adam Hess (ITV’s Live at the Palladium)

“Amazing crowd, amazing acts. Possibly the most fun gig I’ve been to in years”

Audience Review *****

“Incredible evening from a majority female line up (girl power). All the acts were so individual but all equally hilarious. 10/10 would recommend” ?
